In Debra’s class, you’ll discover the inner artist that you didn't know existed. In class, Debra will teach techniques to beginners, and experienced artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and enjoy the creative process.
All you need is a round brush, Size 10 or 12, watercolor paper and watercolors. Amazon has a variety of supplies you can readily get. Debra will share with you other resources.
11:00 am to 12 noon
Rayner makes this class light-hearted and fun and brings about a general sense of well-being, both in body and mind, while you practice gentle movements, stretch, strengthening and breathing exercises. Rayner infuses each session with a creative combination of chair dancing, yoga, gentle movements, breathing exercises and spiritual readings to put you in a positive state of mind, regardless of what's happening in the outside world.

Yoga with Weights
This class continues in the
Baptiste Method of combining yoga with the benefits of weight training.
The added weight builds muscle, bone density and core stability. Jane has received her 500-hour Yoga Certification from Sherri Baptiste.
1:00 to 2:00 pm
Join Jane for a breath-based hour to explore both the inner and outer powers of yoga. Yoga comes to the rescue for balance, strength, vitality, inner peace and lots of joy.
Mondays at 1 pm
This class focuses on stretching and improving your flexibility. You will follow Pam in a slower, more meditative series of stretching exercises.
Wednesdays at 1 pm
Join Pam for gentle, safe exercise while remaining seated. These mild exercises are ideal for those with high risk of falls, have severe joint problems or are wheelchair bound. These exercises have shown to improve strength, flexibility and blood circulation, as well as to boost one’s mood.
Join Stacie Dooreck for standing and seated movements and strengthening that increase range of motion, improve posture, restore flexibility and increase breathing capacity. It will leave you with a smile on your face and an overall sense of well-being.

Although our Yoga and exercise programs may be considered low impact, it is recommended that your doctor approves your participation. If you are participating and begin to feel uncomfortable, STOP immediately. If you are alone and need assistance, do not hesitate to call 911.
ART FOR KIDS meets every Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 beginning September 11th. Debra Maddox, renowned artist and instructor provides an afternoon of fun projects and artistic enrichment for kids. The program is designed for children, 2nd-8th graders with an interest in art! Projects will be age-appropriate
AMERICAN MAHJONG CLASSES and BRIDGE & AMERICAN/CHINESE MAHJONG FREE PLAY. Check the monthly calendar for American Mahjong Classes (4 sessions) and free play.
INTERGENERATIONAL INDOOR PICKLEBALL instruction and play every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30pm offering loads of fun for all ages. It's the latest craze in sports -- a cross between badminton, ping pong and tennis. Requires NO running around or Olympic skill; just lots of fun. Try it, you'll like it!
THE MAKERSPACE, equipped with 3D Printers, Carvey, X-Carve and a Laser Cutter is open every Thursday, from 3:30 to 5:30. Come with ideas, collaborate, have fun, explore options and be creative!! Charles Sowers, designer and builder of displays at the Exploratorium, will teach and inspire, every Thursday. 4th through 12th grades and adults up to 111!
PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS , taught by Debra Maddox is a new program offered.
CHAIR YOGA's terrific instructors are Rayner Needleman and Jane Rivera. We're so delighted to have such experienced and renown teachers on board. Rayner is now also teaching Chair Dancing.
YOGA WITH WEIGHTS We're thrilled to have Sherri Baptiste, founder of the Baptiste Power of Yoga, famed yoga instructor and author, conduct this marvelous program.
